Joke and Dress up day

For the end of the term, on Friday the 25th we will be having Joke and Dress up Friday!!! Joke and Dress up Friday, is where you can bring in a joke and you can dress up as whatever you like. The student council will pick some jokes that they liked and read them out to the whole school. The winners (1 from each base group) will get a big chocolate frog, but don’t worry you get a little chocolate frog for participating! :) You could dress up as a….Fairy, Pirate, Bird, Animal, Princess, Prince,Your friend, Your favourite book, tv or cartoon character Or any other ideas that you may have! We hope to see lots of jokes and costumes next friday!

What is the Toy Swap?

The Toy Swap is where you bring in an old toy that you don't want/need, you get a Stamp, then at the end of the Disco, you get to choose another toy that someone else has brought. 

The Toy Swap is going to be instead of Glow sticks.  

This idea is environmentally friendly for our school.

Let's hope this idea will be a Fun idea!

Our gardens are growing really well. There are flowers on the tomato plants and the peas are starting to grow.

Cream it For Kids

Cream it for Kids MacDonald House Fundraiser

The Student Council are organising a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House. This will be on Friday the 31st October. The children at Worser Bay School will be able to pre order a tip top small tub of vanilla ice cream for $3.00. This can be done through the schools new online order system or money to base group teachers. Orders need to be in by Wednesday 29th October. Please advise your base group teacher if your child requires a non dairy option.

1st day of planting last day of term

At Worser Bay School we have planted some feijoa's, a lemon tree, sun flowers, pea's, cucumber, cherry tomato's and red pepper's

We hope that these  grow so they will look good, and taste nice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you are playing with any balls please be careful not to hit the plants.

Please do not dig in the boxes because there are little seeds in there growing.

Planting has begun in our garden boxes. So far we have planted, a lemon tree, 2 feijoas, some peas and some sunflowers.

Cream it for kids is about raising money for Ronald Mcdonald House. On October the 31st 2014 cream it for kids will take part in lots of schools
